Junior Sous Chef Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Sous Chef to join our client's kitchen team in Kenmare, Co. Kerry.
About the Role
The successful candidate will work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen, requiring strong leadership and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and coordinate kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
* Develop and implement menu ideas, taking into account customer preferences and dietary requirements.
* Supervise food preparation, ensuring all dishes meet the required standards.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to plan menus, manage inventory, and control costs.
Requirements
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a culinary environment.
* Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and as part of a team.
* Excellent customer service skills, able to communicate effectively with customers, clients, and staff.
