Working Pattern: 39 hours per week Overview of Role: The HR Business Partner will be responsible for supporting the shape of the future of our business to achieve business strategy and will report directly to the Head of HR.
This role is part of a dynamic strategic HR team of 10 and includes two direct reports.
The position supports the Water and Waste division of the business, headquartered in Kilkenny.
It offers a hybrid work model with flexibility, requiring onsite presence for a minimum of two days per week.
As an HR Business Partner, you will collaborate closely with the business area to enhance all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
You will drive succession and workforce planning, strategic organisational and culture change initiatives, talent management, and employee engagement, and provide expert guidance on complex employee relations matters, ensuring alignment with the company's values and best practices in order to achieve our People and business strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Coach and build capability among people managers to ensure compliance with best practice people processes to create high-performing teams Drive the creation of a high-performance culture by partnering with managers to drive Engagement Survey action planning and improvements to drive meaningful change to support business strategy and organisational success Collate key people metrics to share with managers to make informed business decisions whilst monitoring employee relations trends and advising on proactive solutions.
Lead and support strategic HR initiatives and projects and lead a Pillar of the People Strategy Manage multiple projects simultaneously, leading across different HR work streams to ensure delivery against project milestones and overall plans.
Ensuring delivery is on track and progress updates are provided for key stakeholders.
Collaborate with the Reward team to create an effective reward strategy alongside operating initiative,s including benchmarking reviews, annual pay and bonus review process,s and ensuring an appealing employee value proposition Prepare and complete annual Gender Pay Gap reporting and action planning Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters, including complex disciplinary cases, grievances, investigations, probation, performance management, restructures, and capability issues.
Oversee all HR aspects of Transfer of Undertakings (TUPE) and Mergers & Acquisitions, ensuring compliance with processes.
Support the company in audits and certifications (e.g., CPD, EI, BWR).
Lead submissions if required for internal and external awards Promote our Inclusion Strategy and initiatives to ensure effective work-life balance, flexible working initiatives, and employee support initiatives, including managing Healthcare provider management Required Skills & Experience: Bachelor's degree in HR or a related discipline (or equivalent qualification).
CIPD qualification (or working towards completion).
Full, clean driving license.
Minimum of 3+ years' experience in a fast-paced, varied HR role.
Strong experience in policy development and implementation.
Proven expertise in Employee Relations Demonstrated in leading organisational and culture across diverse business units Demonstrated success in succession planning and workforce planning
