Shape the Face of Cancer Treatment at Luminate Medical
Luminate Medical is a medical device startup company based in Galway, which is pioneering the development of new medical devices to address chemotherapy induced side effects, such as hair-loss and peripheral neuropathy, in a comfortable and patient-focused manner.
We're looking for a Quality Assurance - Summer Intern to play a key role in our Quality team this summer. You will play a key role in our Quality and Regulatory team. You will be part of the team leading the company compliance efforts ensuring compliance to internal quality procedures and applicable regulations such as 21 CFR 820 and ISO13485, to help ensure successful launch of consumer-facing medical devices for cancer patients to our target markets.
This position requires a driven personality who is keen to grow and develop their skills. The ideal intern will have a good eye to detail. Above all, you will need a passion for quality assurance and international requirements, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and thrive in working across different functions and teams.
What you will do
Support the Quality team and contribute to document creation and updates.
Take responsibility for the delivery of tasks and project goals in a timely fashion by building relationships with external suppliers and manufacturing partners, managing time effectively and maintaining agreed timelines.
Support the Quality team to complete tasks and projects through controlled and documented procedures.
Work within Luminate Medicals eQMS to support improvements and problem solving.
Manage and schedule equipment calibration and preventative maintenance activities.

Proficient with MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
