A leading company in the protein trading and brokerage sector is seeking a Quality Assurance Co-ordinator.
The company operates internationally, specializing in pork, beef, lamb, poultry, and fish products, catering to the Processing and Food Service industries.

Nature of Work
* Reporting primarily to the Quality Manager, responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Ensuring adherence to a robust Quality Assurance program based on internationally recognized standards
* Maintaining and improving quality standards to meet annual audit and certification criteria
* Developing a clear understanding of company processes and transactions to identify improvements and efficiencies
* Traveling to both suppliers and clients as necessary
* Producing weekly, monthly, and quarterly Quality reports
* Completing customer paperwork requests
* Managing supplier approvals in accordance with quality procedures
* Investigating customer complaints in a timely manner
* Managing product specifications
* Conducting quality and process checks of trade contracts
* Performing regular internal audits of the Quality and ERP System
* Assisting in the development and maintenance of Quality Documentation and SOPs
* Conducting training sessions to educate employees on quality standards, processes, and best practices
* Championing a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the company
* Taking a hands-on approach to employment responsibilities
Qualifications & Experience
Candidates with experience and/or a relevant third-level qualification are preferred.
A working knowledge of BRC standards, HACCP, and Food Legislation is an advantage.
Mentoring and suitable training will be provided to assist in the role.
