Applications are sought for the position of Senior Resettlement Worker for Redclyffe Family Hub for a one-year fixed term contract.
Redclyffe provides emergency accommodation to families who are experiencing homelessness. The Senior Resettlement Worker will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of a service aimed at providing a welcoming, compassionate, and professional service to the men, women, and children in Redclyffe.
This position is for a fixed term of one year and will involve working 36 hours per week. Some flexibility will be required around working hours, which involves working shifts including weekends and sleepovers.
The successful candidate will have:
1. Relevant qualification in Social Care or an appropriate equivalent
2. A minimum of four years relevant work experience
3. Experience working within homeless services
4. Excellent interpersonal and teamworking skills
5. Professional and caring approach to working with vulnerable men, women, and children
6. A genuine interest in the work of Good Shepherd Cork and commitment to our vision, mission, and values
The candidate should be compassionate and highly motivated. They should be able to provide leadership, planning, and support while on shift in Redclyffe to staff and residents.
The candidate will be required to demonstrate sound decision-making skills and have good interpersonal, teambuilding, and supporting skills.
