We are now looking to expand our team and are currently recruiting for the position of Accounts Assistant. You will be reporting to the Chief Financial Officer. The main goal of the Accounts Assistant position is to support the Finance department by handling routine accounting tasks, including data entry, invoice processing, and reconciliation. This role's primary aim is to ensure accurate and timely financial records, contributing to the organization's smooth operation and financial well-being.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
* Processing creditor invoices and payments (including RCT)
* Monitoring daily communications and answering queries with suppliers and customers
* Preparation of bank reconciliations and reconciliations of other month-end balances such as VAT and PAYE
* Issuing invoices to customers and assisting with credit control
* Assisting with month-end procedures
Experience & Qualifications
* Accounting Technician qualification or similar preferred
* At least 2 years of practical experience
* Strong IT Skills e.g. MS Office
* Proficiency in accounting software e.g. SAGE and SAP
* Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
* High level of accuracy
* High level of organisation
* Ability to work on own initiative and manage workload
* Excellent time management and attention to detail
