We are currently recruiting an Operations Assistant to join our team in our busy operations office in New Ross. In this role, you will need to be able to communicate fluently in English and Romanian as the role will involve translating instructions to our drivers in Romanian both on the telephone and in person. Full and comprehensive training will be provided to the successful candidate.
Responsibilities & Duties
1. Work alongside the transport planners and the sales teams to ensure that customer requirements are fully met
2. Ensure company procedures and quality service are achieved at all times
3. Ensure good distribution practices (GDP) are maintained
4. Liaise with customers and drivers
5. Provide clear instructions/routes to drivers
6. Administration and reporting tasks
7. Completing documentation
8. Good knowledge of tachographs and driver working hours (full training will be provided)
Minimum Requirements:
1. Communicate fluently in English and Romanian (other languages would be advantageous)
2. Good working knowledge of Windows and ability to learn new systems quickly
3. Customer focused
4. Flexible and strong team player
5. Excellent attention to detail
6. Be self-motivated and ambitious and enjoy working in a busy environment
This is a full-time position with 40 variable hours per week over 5 days, Monday to Sunday.
Salary dependent on experience
