We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Retail B2B Marketing Lead to join an established marketing team. This unique role will be pivotal in developing and executing marketing strategies that effectively drive product awareness, engagement, and sales through the branch network, with a focus on both direct customers and business clients.
The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strategic thinking, creativity, and analytical skills, with a strong understanding of B2B marketing principles and how they apply within a retail-like environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and execute channel marketing strategies to maximise product distribution and sales through the branch network, targeting both end-users and business clients.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with branch managers and key business accounts to ensure alignment and collaboration on marketing initiatives.
* Develop tailored marketing materials, including sales tools, promotional campaigns, and training resources, for both retail and B2B customers.
* Monitor and analyse channel performance metrics, with a focus on both retail sales and B2B account growth, to optimize marketing efforts.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
* Work with product managers to develop and implement comprehensive product marketing promotions that cater to both retail and B2B needs.
* Collaborate on product launch plans, including timelines, promotional materials, and training for sales teams, ensuring effective communication to all customer segments.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure an integrated approach to product offerings and brand messaging across all channels.
* Work with sales teams to participate in trade shows, industry events, and webinars to promote products and engage with customers and partners, with a focus on attracting and retaining business clients.
Performance Analysis:
* Track and analyse the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for improvement across both retail and B2B channels.
* Prepare regular reports on product performance, market trends, and competitive analysis for senior management, with specific attention to B2B market trends and opportunities.
Merchandising and Customer Experience:
* Ensure in-branch product displays and overall branch environment cater to the needs of both retail and B2B customers, maximising product visibility and encouraging engagement.
* Work closely with the sales team and management to develop and execute merchandising and customer experience strategies that align with overall business goals, with a focus on enhancing the B2B customer journey.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
* 3-5 years of experience in B2B marketing, channel marketing, or a related role.
* Strong understanding of marketing principles and channel dynamics, with specific knowledge of B2B marketing strategies.
* Proven ability to develop and execute successful marketing strategies and campaigns targeting both end-users and business clients.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with a diverse customer base.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions, with a focus on measuring B2B marketing ROI.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
