This is a 12-month Contract position.
POSITION SUMMARY
This position will report to the Finance Team Lead Global Manufacturing & Supply (GMS) - Ireland Operations. This role will support the Irish sites based in Rathdrum, Tallaght and Tullamore, Ireland. As a member of the Ireland GMS finance team, this position will provide support to the Ireland Finance Operations team and by extension to Zoetis's three manufacturing sites in Ireland. As a team member, this position will contribute to accurate month end reporting, with an emphasis on maintaining and bolstering SOX governance and financial compliance. In contributing to this purpose, this role will be required to foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
1. With the support of the Finance Team Lead, GMS, govern the SOX compliance program for the three manufacturing sites in Ireland.
2. Co-ordinate the Fixed Asset cycle count requirements for the three sites.
3. Maintain compliance with Zoetis accounting policies and procedures.
4. Support team members with month end reporting responsibilities, eg:
1. Posting of journals
2. Account reconciliations
3. Preparation of accruals
4. Variance analysis
5. Participate in audits and internal control assessments to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
6. Evaluate and recommend improvements to existing financial systems and processes.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement programs to enhance financial performance.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
* All groups across the 3 manufacturing sites in Ireland.
* ZFS (Zoetis Financial Shared Service) based in Poland and Costa Rica.
* Finance Belgium.
* Other finance teams across the organization as necessary.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Education:
* Financial / Accounting qualification.
Experience:
* 1-3 years of experience in financial analyst role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
* Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software.
* Demonstrated ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
* Ability to work to strict deadlines.
* High level of customer focus.
* SAP proficiency (CO, FI, MM).
* SOX compliance experience.
TECHNICAL SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
1. Exhibit excellent professional ethics.
2. Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
3. Willingness and ability to understand broader business knowledge.
4. Up-to-date technology expertise, including proficiency in Excel.
5. Good interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.
6. Proficient in SAP (CO, FI, MM).
PHYSICAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS
It is a hybrid position and can be based out of any of the 3 sites (Rathdrum, Tallaght or Tullamore) whichever is best for the successful applicant.
