About this Fellowship
This prestigious fellowship provides comprehensive, hands-on experience in the perioperative management of liver transplant patients at Ireland's national liver transplant centre. There is also a high volume of elective major liver, IVC, pancreatic and bariatric surgery.
The successful candidate will work within a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, gaining expertise in:
* Advanced anaesthetic management for liver transplantation and complex hepatobiliary surgery;
* Haemodynamic monitoring and coagulation management in high-risk patients;
* Critical care of liver failure and transplant patients;
* Cutting-edge regional anaesthesia and enhanced recovery protocols;
* Participation in clinical research and education.
Requirements
* Significant experience in Ireland or another equivalent training program country;
* A strong interest in transplant, hepatobiliary, and major surgical anaesthesia;
* Registration (or eligibility for registration) with the Irish Medical Council.
