My client, an Energy Asset company, has a role for a Junior Energy Analyst. Working within the company's Renewable R&D team, the role encompasses the following:
Day-to-day, here’s what your new role would look like:
1. Assist in the technical analysis and administration of the energy efficiency obligation.
2. Review and develop auditing and verification processes for energy efficiency projects.
3. Assist in the submission of projects to SEAI on a monthly basis.
4. Develop relationships with consultants, ensuring products delivered to customers are of a high standard.
5. Support the collection and reporting of ESG data.
6. Assist Key Account Managers to deliver energy efficiency advice to customers.
7. Assist in the research of new energy-efficient products and concepts.
8. Determine how products can be rolled out to customers, both commercial and residential.
About you: What you’ll need:
1. Hold a relevant degree/qualification.
2. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
3. Self-motivated, enthusiastic and willing to put our internal and external customers first.
4. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
These help decide between those who meet all the above criteria:
1. Basic understanding of the Energy Markets in terms of ROI.
2. Robust understanding of mechanical and electrical systems in buildings.
3. Capable of demonstrating initiative and adaptability to change.
4. Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Data gathering and analysis experience.
