GEA Industrial is seeking a Business Development Manager to build and grow business connections in new and exciting markets. We’re looking for a driven and visionary professional, someone who can lead the charge in bringing innovative products into emerging sectors, paving the way for new opportunities and expanding our reach to create a thriving customer network.
In this role, you’ll identify and cultivate new business prospects, conduct market research and analysis, and establish solid, lasting relationships with potential clients. Core responsibilities include market research, lead generation, prospecting, relationship development, and executing sales.
The ideal candidate will have a robust background in technical sales, with strong expertise in electrical systems, an aptitude for reading and interpreting technical drawings, and a solid grasp of CRM tools—all essential for building valuable client relationships.
Minimum Requirements:
* 6 years sales experience minimum.
* A background in technical sales, including areas such as construction, window and door hardware, safety and security or automation.
* Previous experience selling into areas such as food/beverage production, pharma and industrial facilities.
* Proficiency with sales software such as CRMs and estimating tools.
