Develops, maintains and controls the master production schedule in accordance with the corporation's strategic business plan.
Serves as the main interface between Manufacturing and Global Supply Chain.
Acts as the main source of information regarding forecast and schedule changes for their products.
Contributes to the development of the planning processes through high levels of engagement and excellent communication with interested parties.
Key Responsibilities Develops, maintains and controls a realistic master production schedule by balancing marketing requirements with manufacturing capacity and parts availability.Perform "What if" analyses to aid in optimal scheduling, priorities and decision making.Assists production supervisors with the implementation of the production schedule.Prepares reports, presentations and graphs with monthly operating summaries for planning and execution of meetings.Attends and participates in SI&OP meetings.Communicates and follows up on issues related with components availability.Communicates production planning issues to relevant areas such as Global Supply Chain, Production Control, Customer Service, etc.Requirements Must have a Level 8 degree in a related field (Supply Chain, Business or other).A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar planner role within a manufacturing environment.Buyer/Planner experience in an Electronics/Healthcare manufacturing industry is an advantage.SAP experience is an advantage but not essential.Data analytics experience is an advantage.Boston Scientific is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
