Tekno is recruiting for an Orthopaedic Sales Specialist - Recon & Mako to join our growing Team in the WEST of Ireland. Tekno distributes the Stryker Portfolio of Hips, Knees and Robotic Implants and has a strong Market Share in the Republic of Ireland.
Key Outcomes:
* The Specialist will be responsible for the complete Orthopaedic Reconstruction & Mako portfolios in your Accounts.
* The working environment will be mainly in the Operating Theatre.
* Assist customers with clinical, technical, and commercial enquiries.
* Develop relationships with key customers into lasting business partnerships.
* Achievement of sales plans on a quarterly and annual basis.
* Business planning and implementation throughout area of responsibility. Development of new business opportunities and determination of new client and market potential through your contact with Customers, Colleagues, and the Companies who Uniphar Medtech represents in the Ireland Market.
* Provide feedback on customers, promotional programs and environmental changes and provide ideas to improve product and company performance in the marketplace.
* Attendance at relevant conferences and meetings both in Ireland and elsewhere.

Requirements:
Key Skills & Experiences:
* A Technical Qualification and an aptitude for learning new Surgical Technologies.
* A minimum of 3+ years' successful track record in medical sales or technology service in the hospital environment is desirable; also experience in Medical device manufacturing & design will be considered.
* Candidates must have the ability to be comfortable working in the Hospital Operating Room environment.
* Role requires both Technical and Sales Skills, with a primary focus on Customer Service & Patient Safety.
* High reliance on drive and planning/organisational skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills: Customer focused with strong influencing skills.
* Good administrative and computing skills.
* Commercially aware, able to manage a complex business.
