You will be reporting directly to the Head of Business Outsourcing Services (BOS) and your principal task will be to develop the BOS practice in the Dublin office, building on an existing portfolio.You will take ownership of the day-to-day running of your clients and look to build a team around you as the practice develops. In order to be considered successful in your role, it is imperative that you manage your team, and run the portfolio of work in line with the National BOS KPI targets.Within this role you will be expected to develop a personal marketing approach, having ideas to create work for the individual and the firm, and to manage a portfolio of clients.As a Senior Manager – Financial Reporting, your responsibilities will include:Management and oversight of a team of qualified and part-qualified accounting professionals including all aspects of performance management.Promote an innovative and inclusive team-oriented environment including coaching and mentoring junior team members.Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders including clients, potential clients, and senior leaders across all Evelyn practice areas.Lead the delivery of a high-quality and proactive service to a portfolio of client engagements in accordance with best practice procedures, internal controls, and review processes.Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes including variances to expected budget and timelines.Act as a technical expert and have a strong knowledge and application of various accounting standards, primarily IFRS and FRS 102.Contribute to the growth and development of the BOS practice including business development activities and the achievement of financial objectives including new business targets, and timely fee billing and cash collection.Get involved in the implementation of strategic and technology projects within the BOS practice.QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you should:Be a qualified Accountant e.g. ACA, ACCA or CIMA, preferably trained within a practice environment.Have post-qualification experience gained within a professional services firm or commercial finance function.Demonstrable practical understanding and application of accounting record keeping including management accounts, statutory financial statements, and tax computations.Significant experience in building relationships and rapport with clients and managing team members.Results-oriented to meet and exceed client expectations, with a key focus on delivering high-quality work that consistently meets client deadlines.Additional InformationAs a colleague here at S&W you will have access to benefits that include:Private medical insuranceLife assurancePension contributionGenerous holiday packageOption to purchase additional holidayShared parental leaveFully funded training towards professional qualificationsCycle to work schemeSeason ticket loanEye care supportWe are proud to value the differences that a diverse workforce brings, representative of society and our clients.
