Clinical Support Overview:
The post holder will be responsible for the operational management and development of the Healthcare Record within St Vincents University Hospital.
They will be responsible for the maintenance and security of patient records in line with hospital and national guidelines.
The post holder will lead change programmes and undertake projects, or initiatives in securing the commitment of all staff to organisational change and continuous improvement.
The Healthcare Records Manager will play a major role in the implementation of the Electronic Health Record System and will contribute to the strategic planning and decision-making process.
Accountability and responsibility for the security and protection of the Healthcare Record as per HSE Code of Practice for the Management of HCR and HIQA guidelines relating to safe management of patient information.
