We're currently looking for a Full or Part Time Podiatrist to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in our clinic in Castleknock.
The FTE for this role is €42,000-63,000 per annum, with potential earnings of up to €90,000 with commission.

What is the role and what are your responsibilities? Treat a variety of skin ailments such as verrucas, corns, calluses, etc.Assess and treat ingrown toenails, clipping toenails and general foot tidy upTreat patients with diabetes at increased risk of foot disease who require preventative care and assistanceDetermine the condition of a patient's feet, ankles, or lower legs by reviewing his or her medical history, listening to the patient's concerns, and performing a physical examinationDiagnose foot, ankle, and lower-leg problems through physical exams and other methodsProvide treatment for foot, ankle, and lower leg ailments, such as prescribing special shoe inserts (orthotics) to improve and correct foot and ankle deformitiesGive advice and instruction on foot and ankle care and on general wellness techniquesEducate patients on how to improve and/or maintain conditionsLiaise with other healthcare professionals, such as GPs, Physios, and other members of multi-disciplinary teams, to exchange information about the background and progress of patients and refer patients to other physicians or specialists if they detect larger health problems, such as diabetesMeet continuous education requirements and maintain an up-to-date CPD folderWrite patient case notes and reports and collect statistics; manage payments, and issue receiptsPlace stock orders and log repairsIn some cases, supervise student and junior podiatrists and enhance your teaching skillsManage clinical risk and have excellent infection control awarenessBe caring, compassionate, and professional and always have the patient at the core of everything you doHelp with creating blogs and content for social media and other marketing channelsWork with the marketing team and provide them with on-the-ground feedback from time to timeWhat experience and qualifications do I need?
