Our client is based near Citywest Business Park in Tallaght Dublin 24 and is currently recruiting for an Experienced Service Administrator / Co Ordinator to join their team.
This is a permanent role and salary is circa €35k plus generous monthly bonuses and annual salary reviews.
The Service Administrator / Co Ordinator is the link between customers and the service department. This role ensures customer satisfaction by managing service appointments, providing accurate information about maintenance and repair needs, and ensuring timely and efficient service delivery. The Service Advisor is a key representative of the dealership’s commitment to quality service and customer care.
DUTIES OF THE ROLE:
1. Schedule service appointments efficiently, optimizing workshop capacity.
2. Coordinate with technicians to relay customer concerns and ensure accurate diagnosis.
3. Maintain clear communication with customers about the status of their vehicles, updates, and estimated completion times.
4. Provide cost estimates and seek approval for repairs or additional work.
5. Prepare detailed repair orders and invoices for customers.
6. Maintain accurate records of service history and customer interactions.
7. Process payments and handle billing inquiries.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
1. Previous experience in a Service Advisor or similar role in the automotive industry is preferred.
2. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
3. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
4. Proficiency with service management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
