Job Description
As a Process Development Engineer II, you will have opportunities to pursue innovative ideas by developing best-in-class technology solutions to address unmet business needs.
Your Responsibilities
* Participate in all areas of new product development, including design, technology development & advancement, automation, vendor management & project management.
* Research and collaborate with cross-functional team members on Design, Reliability & Manufacturability methodology (DRM), 3-D drawing/printing, and Extended reality to develop best-in-class technologies.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, execute, and deliver on New Product Development requirements.
* Support process development, characterization, and validation activities to support new product introduction.
* Identify and carry out practical actions to solve technical problems using your new and existing skills in project management, six sigma tools, process characterization, and technology development.
Requirements
* A level 8 degree in Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering or related discipline.
* A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
* Dynamic team player and ability to work effectively and proactively on cross-functional teams.
* Experience in process validation protocol and report writing.
* Ability to identify and resolve issues without direct supervision.
* Working knowledge of statistical tools such as DOE, SPC, Hypothesis Testing, and Process Capability Studies.
* Experience developing and validating medical device manufacturing processes (IQ, OQ, PQ, and PPQ).
* Six Sigma training; Minitab and Design Expert skills (DOE and other statistical analysis).
