Maintenance Planner & Coordinator Job Description
Matrix Recruitment is recruiting for a Maintenance Planner & Coordinator for a leading manufacturing facility in Wexford. This is a permanent role with a full benefits package.
About the Role
* Plan and coordinate maintenance tasks, ensuring timely completion and balanced workloads.
* Manage maintenance resources and documentation, including spare parts inventory and maintenance performance metrics.
* Collaborate with teams and vendors to schedule maintenance and supervise vendor activities.
* Ensure compliance and safety by enforcing safety systems and meeting regulatory and company standards.
* Analyze and improve maintenance performance by investigating equipment breakdowns and implementing process improvements.
Requirements
* 35 years of experience as a Maintenance Planner/Coordinator or Senior Technician with planning experience.
* Proficiency in SAP S/4 Hana desirable.
* Completion of a Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation apprenticeship or an NCEA Diploma (or equivalent) in related engineering fields preferred.
* Hands-on experience in maintenance with strong mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation skills.
* Solid knowledge of engineering/process instrumentation.
* Familiarity with utilities, non-manufacturing processes, and systems supporting plant operations.
