Location Overview: Overlooking the spectacular Iveagh Gardens with access to all amenities in the beating heart of central Dublin is our Park Place office. Travel options include the LUAS, Dublin Bus networks as well as the Dublin Bikes station, positioned just outside our front doors.
Role Description: The Information Security Officer will be a functional member of the Business Information Security Officer's organization and work closely with the Global Banking and Markets Chief Information Officers and Chief Technology Officers teams to develop a good understanding of the business in order to have specialized information security risk-based discussions.
This relationship will ensure a focus on the right risk priorities. The Information Security Officer will also act as the day-to-day point of contact providing guidance on information security topics and policies.
Responsibilities: Provide advisory and oversight for changes within Global Banking and Markets environment related to security.Work in collaboration with the Risk teams supporting them in their activities.Work with the global BISO organization to ensure that Global information security requirements and initiatives are communicated effectively.Establish and maintain a network of stakeholders and partners.Conduct routine liaison and coordination across the risk partners and technology groups to remediate GIS issues.Coordinate and drive remediation of ad hoc GIS issues.What we are looking for: Experience within an information security technology operational, engineering, or consulting team.Good interpersonal skills to communicate and negotiate with senior stakeholders.Skills that will help: Experience within a technology and financial organization at a mid-level to senior level.Understanding of vulnerability management and associated monitoring solutions.Experience of formal security risk assessment methodologies.In-depth technical understanding of Technology Infrastructure operations.Previous experience working within a financial institution.Benefits of working at Bank of America: Private healthcare for you and your family.Competitive pension plan, life assurance, and group income protection cover.20 days of back-up childcare and adult care per annum.Flexible benefits to suit your personal circumstances.Access to an Employee Assistance Program for confidential support.Opportunity to donate to charities with matching contributions from the bank.Opportunity to give back to your community through volunteering.Bank of America: Good conduct and sound judgment are crucial to our long-term success.
