Job Description:
The Finance Manager is a critical role in supporting the hotel's strategic objectives through robust financial planning and analysis.
Responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Ensure the accuracy of financial statements in accordance with company policy.
Monitor and manage costs to ensure profitability, including departmental expense control, payroll management, and cost reduction initiatives.
Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, including VAT, tax filings, and audits.
Prepare for and coordinate internal and external audits.
Work closely with the General Manager and department heads to provide financial insights that drive strategic decision-making and long-term planning.
Lead and develop the finance team, providing training, support, and mentorship to enhance performance and professional growth.
Serve as the primary financial liaison with group colleagues, and other key stakeholders, providing transparent and insightful financial reports.
About the Role:
The Finance Manager ensures the financial integrity of the hotel, provides accurate financial reporting, and supports the hotels financial planning and budgeting processes.
Required criteria include a professional accounting qualification, such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA, relevant hotel accounts experience, and minimum 2 years experience in similar role.
