Red Chair Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Business Development Officer on behalf of a well-established boat retail company based in County Kerry.
This is an exciting, hands-on role for a motivated and dynamic individual who enjoys building relationships and driving business growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing existing client accounts, overseeing deliveries, identifying, and onboarding new business opportunities, and occasionally travelling to deliver directly to clients and maintain strong customer relationships.
This role combines elements of sales and account management and would suit someone with a passion for the marine or retail sector and strong communication skills.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a business development, client management, or similar role is essential.
* Full, clean driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
* Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and closing sales opportunities.
* Interest or experience in the marine/boat retail sector is an advantage.
* A clean valid driver’s licence is essential, with a trailer licence being advantageous.
Salary & Benefits:
* Commission structure in place to reward business development and sales performance.
* Company vehicle provided for travel when required.
* Monday to Friday position with occasional flexibility required on Saturdays.
