Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, the ideal candidate will manage the software engineering team onsite. You will have the knowledge and understanding of controls, coding, PLC, and software to manage the team and deliver on key client projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage a team of software engineers.
2. Build, motivate and inspire growth through outstanding mentoring and coaching.
3. Monitor and provide the expertise to fill skill gaps.
4. Analyze data to effectively coordinate the installation of new systems or the modification of existing systems.
5. Manage the software development lifecycle.
6. Monitor system performance and oversee the testing and troubleshooting of new software, project development, design, build and documentation.
7. Develop and direct software system validation and testing methods.
8. Develop and execute project plans.
9. Oversee and understand all commitments and deliveries in alignment with company goals.
10. Work closely with clients and cross-functional departments to communicate project statuses and proposals.
11. Communicate key project data to team members and build cohesion among mechanical and electrical engineers.
12. Apply best practices problem-solving initiatives and SOPs.
13. Create innovative solutions to meet our company’s technical needs and shape the future of our systems.
Key Requirements:
1. 3rd level Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology.
2. 8-10 years as a Senior Software Engineer in a software company & capable of designing, writing code & delivering software.
3. 2+ years proven ability to manage, motivate and mentor.
4. Project Management experience is essential.
5. Passionate about software development.
6. Excellent knowledge of modern development technologies and tools.
7. Troubleshoot complex projects & combine with the principles of engineering & software development.
8. Expertise in writing unit, integration, systems, and performance tests.
Desirable:
* Experience with Beckhoff PLC programming is a distinct advantage.

Pay: €60,000.00-€65,000.00 per year
