Psychologist (Temporary) Role Overview
We are seeking a Community Psychologist to join our team on a temporary basis in Waterford & Wexford. This is an exciting opportunity to support individuals and communities by providing psychological services that promote well-being and provide best practice supports.
About the Role:
As a Psychologist, you will work directly with individuals, families, and community groups to provide psychological support, assessments, and interventions. Your role will involve working with vulnerable populations and providing evidence-based practices to promote positive change.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide psychological assessments and interventions to individuals, families, and community groups
* Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective support plans
* Conduct research and analysis to inform practice and improve outcomes
* Develop and maintain relationships with community stakeholders to promote partnerships and collaboration
* Stay up-to-date with best practice guidelines and research in the field of psychology
Requirements:
* A recognised qualification in Psychology (Doctorate level)
* Registration with the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) or equivalent
* Experience working in community or clinical settings
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
* A valid driver's license and access to own vehicle
