As a Junior Architectural Technologist, you will be joining an architectural practice based in Dublin City that, due to growth in project pipeline, is now seeking to add to their team of Architects and Technologists. This practice has a strong team, with directors taking a hands-on approach to live projects and working closely with the remainder of the team to deliver to the highest quality.
Your New Role
As a Junior Architectural Technologist, you should be coming in with around 2 years post-graduate experience. There will be plenty of training and mentorship with a focus on working on live projects and applying your foundational knowledge while growing it further. Your role will focus on producing technical details on drawings, creating planning applications that should go through successfully, and understanding the building regulations applicable to the project to ensure an efficient transition from design stage to build. The role offers a collaborative work environment and a focus on CPD training to ensure you are up to date on all current construction methodologies. Job Requirements
For this role, you should hold a degree in Architectural Technology (or similar) and have 2 years of experience working on projects in Ireland, either in a design office or a consultancy. You should demonstrate a driven attitude, openness to learn, and a desire to strengthen the knowledge already built during your degree. The practice uses Revit, and experience with this software in your current workplace would be a distinct advantage over other candidates.
