Applications Engineer An Irish manufacturer of HVAC products is seeking an Applications Engineer in Laois. There will is an option of hybrid working after the initial period at the company. THE COMPANY: Growing from strength to strength every year, this designer and manufacturer of air management products has become a major player in the Irish market. Established for over 2 decades and employing over 70 people, our client supplies into hospitals, pharma and data centres in Ireland. With turnover in the tens of millions, they are now seeking to add a talented Applications Engineer to their Laois site. THE ROLE: The successful candidate will be primarily site-based in Laois with some hybrid work and have the following duties: Supporting the project and sales team with all technical activities during the tender, design and build stages Acting as the interface between the sales team and the engineering team Receiving client specifications and formulating scope of works and design, selecting products and running energy calculations Assisting with the preparation of quotations, carrying out technical submittals and ensuring compliance with specifications Assisting with planning, scheduling, resourcing and forecasting all technical activities THE PERSON: We are looking to speak to those from the following backgrounds: A strong practical knowledge of HVAC/AHU systems is essential for the role and a requirement Practical HVAC engineering experience is extremely advantageous Applications Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Energy Engineers, Design Engineers and Project Engineers with significant HVAC knowledge will all be seriously considered PACKAGE: Salary: €50,000-€65,000 DOE Healthcare Laptop Phone 21 days Holiday LOCATION: Laois Applications are encouraged from all candidates living within a commutable distance to Laois!
