The purpose of the Compliance Analyst is to support the franchise business in making sure all the required data and documentation is available for import of our product to any new franchise markets. To act as the single point of contact in relation to import and regulatory documentation for our franchise partners and to act as an intermediary between internal stakeholders, franchise partners and suppliers to facilitate the smooth movement, import and sale of our product in the territories that they are destined for.

What You’ll do:
1. Set up and run a process to identify U prefix orders and ensure all product associated to them has an allocated valid HS code as early as possible in the process.
2. Expand our internal risk reporting functionality to incorporate new franchise markets and their respective regulations for import as and when they come online. This will allow us to run a weekly risk report to identify products with additional regulatory/documentary requirements or/and that need registering.
3. Work with our franchise partners once the risk report has identified which products fall under which regulation to cross check and then determine which documents are needed and from whom to allow the product to be registered in the country of destination and subsequently imported there.
4. Act as a central point for collation of data and documents relating to a product from other internal stakeholders including but not limited to product compliance, QA, Labelling, legal, finance.
5. Liaise with our franchise partner to ensure the documents are in the right format with the right data as per the individual country requirements.
What you'll bring:
* At least 18 months experience of working in the area of regulatory compliance.
* Proficient Excel skills and good experience of other Microsoft Office programmes, eg PowerPoint, Access, Word, etc.
* Keen interest in understanding complex legislation and its implications for Primark.
* Exhibit solid communication skills and the capacity to quickly process key information.
