Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving domestic sales, particularly focusing on heat pump systems. You will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, generating quotes, managing the grant process, and providing exceptional support throughout the sales cycle.
Please note: this role is Hybrid, so we will require the successful applicant to attend our office in Kenmare, one to two days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
* Sales & Lead Management:
* Drive sales of domestic heat pumps and other heating solutions to meet and exceed sales targets.
* Follow up on inbound sales inquiries via phone, email, and website, converting leads into sales opportunities.
* Maintain and nurture strong relationships with new and existing customers.
* Customer Interaction:
* Respond promptly to customer queries, providing expert advice on our range of heating products and renewable energy solutions.
* Educate customers on the benefits of heat pumps and other sustainable heating options.
* Provide excellent after-sales support, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
* Quotation & Order Processing:
* Prepare and deliver accurate and timely quotes to customers based on their heating needs.
* Process sales orders, coordinate with the technical team, and ensure smooth order fulfillment.
* Maintain accurate sales records, including customer data, quotes, and transactions in the CRM system.
* Grant Management:
* Assist customers in navigating the grant application process for renewable energy systems such as heat pumps (e.g., SEAI grants).
* Provide documentation support and guidance to ensure successful grant applications.
* Stay informed on current and upcoming government incentives and communicate these to customers.
* Market Knowledge & Reporting:
* Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and new developments in renewable energy and heating technologies.
* Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management, contributing insights to help refine sales strategies.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a sales or customer service role; prior history in heating or renewable energy industry is not necessary but is a plus.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to customers clearly and confidently.
* High attention to detail and accuracy when handling quotes and customer information.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and stay organised in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Self-motivated, with a passion for renewable energy and customer satisfaction.
