Our client is a leading electronics company specializing in the repair and refurbishment of printed circuit boards (PCBs), modules, and terminals.
Job Title: Technical Operator
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor the Return Materials Authorization (RMA) log daily for customer returns.
* Report negative trends on returned equipment to the manager.
* Assist engineers with experiments when necessary.
* Troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic equipment as assigned.
* Set up standard test apparatus and conduct tests to evaluate the performance and reliability of modules.
* Draft technical reports and develop charts and graphs.
* Comply with ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements, including maintaining document information and completing department forms/records as required.
* Understand and apply our quality policy statement in all aspects of work.
* Contribute towards achieving company objectives.
* Travel to customer sites outside of Ireland to assist with fault finding, training, and repair activities if necessary.
Required Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in Electronics or related field - Solas/FAS certification not required.
* Basic computer skills.
* Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
* Willingness to learn and develop technical skills under supervision.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Customer-facing experience - an advantage.
