Regional Sales Manager – Midlands/South East
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for generating new sales from new and existing customers, as well as retaining our existing customer base of FMCG retail outlets and SMEs nationwide. The successful candidate must be capable of working on their own initiative in terms of finding and creating leads, with a proactive and enthusiastic approach to making sales.
Detailed Job Description
* Set quarterly sales targets by the National Sales Manager, reviewed on an ongoing basis.
* Contact new customers nationwide to sell various products from our catalogue of predominantly financial products.
* Sourcing sales leads by researching and contacting potential clients by phone is a key requirement, as is gaining referrals from the existing customer base.
* Growing the sales of various products including merchant services and other product lines as demand necessitates, plus new products as they become available.
* Maintain accurate records of daily sales and customer service calls.
* Produce accurate and timely reports to management on the progress of sales – company, team & individual.
Requirements
* Minimum of 3 years proven sales experience.
* Experience of payment services industry desirable.
* Demonstrate technical selling skills and product knowledge in all areas listed above.
* Good knowledge of the financial services market advantageous.
* Familiar with the sales process for a low margin high volume product into the convenience retail market.
* Excellent Communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
