The successful individual will report to the Financial Controller and the wider Senior Management Team. You will need to possess excellent organizational capabilities with the ability to manage your own workload.
Systems experience, particularly SAGE, is an advantage.
The Role:
* Monthly Accounts Preparation
* Process bank reconciliations and bank transactions
* Balance sheet management
* General Ledger accounting
* VAT
* Support the Financial Controller and all external stakeholders.
* Annual Audit
* Responsibility for Payroll and liaise with HR regarding records.
* Ongoing projects and ad hoc finance duties
The Person:
* Experience of working in an industry-based role is a must, ideally in an SME environment.
* FMCG experience is an advantage.
* Strong systems experience.
* Qualified/Part-Qualified Accountant or ‘Qualified by Experience’ will all be considered.
* Strong interpersonal skills.
* Strong analytical skills including Excel.
* Process improvement experience.
* Deadline driven with strong attention to detail.
Salary:
€50,000 - €55,000.
Career Progression:
There is visible progression to the Financial Controller role.
