The Samuel Hotel is looking for a talented Commis Chef to join our team. As a Commis Chef, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in preparing and cooking a wide range of dishes. You will work alongside a team of experienced chefs and have the opportunity to learn new skills and techniques.
Responsibilities:
1. Assisting in the preparation and cooking of dishes
2. Ensuring that food is prepared to the highest standard
3. Keeping the kitchen clean and tidy
4. Assisting with stock control and ordering
5. Following health and safety procedures
6. Other duties as assigned by the Head Chef
Qualifications:
1. Experience working in a similar role
2. Knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
3. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
4. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
5. Basic knowledge of health and safety procedures
6. Certificate in Food Hygiene and Safety
