IT Service Desk Administrator
Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and meeting IT requirements? Aviva Ireland is seeking a dedicated IT Service Desk Administrator to join our team in our Cork Airport Business Park office on a 12 Month FTC. This role is crucial in providing IT support to our business users, ensuring their technology needs are met efficiently and effectively.
The role may consist of, but is not limited to, working the Service Bar, Request Management, Desk-Side Engineering, Build and Distribution, Executive Customer Support, and Event Support.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Answer queries and fulfill requests via phone, email, in person, or via the ticketing system.
2. Provide on-site support to executives and other priority customers.
3. Resolve technical issues and problems where possible or assign/delegate.
4. Take ownership of incidents/requests to resolution including all tickets escalated to 3rd party resolving agents.
5. Undertake repair/replacement of Aviva IT Kits.
6. Oversee ordering, delivery, and recharge of non-standard hardware.
7. Administer access changes.
8. Support audit compliance through randomized testing.
9. Ensure that controls are sufficiently well designed and operating effectively to keep the risks that they mitigate within Aviva's tolerance level.
10. Build effective working relationships across relevant teams in IT Care, Infrastructure, Operations, Service Management, CISO.
Skills & Experiences:
1. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
2. Good customer service and customer liaison skills.
3. Understanding of work processes e.g. request management, incident management.
4. Organizational and Time-Management skills are essential for this role.
5. Good working knowledge of Windows 10, 11, Intune, and Microsoft Office packages.
6. Ability to work off own initiative.
