Supply Chain Planner Contract Position
This is a 12-month contract opportunity for a Supply Chain Planner to work on-site in Sligo, Ireland.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the demand and supply planning for a defined product group, ensuring the availability of quality products at the right time, place, and quantity. This role involves financial and inventory management, supporting both internal and external customer requirements, and ensuring seamless operations at the manufacturing site.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage demand and supply planning for a defined product group, ensuring the availability of quality products in the right time, place, and quantity.
* Manage financial aspects and inventory for products under your remit.
* Develop and execute the supply plan for the manufacturing site.
* Collaborate with Project Management, Regulatory, Marketing, and Commercial teams to manage demand for new and ramp-up/down products.
* Communicate with global affiliates regarding product availability, reservations, and special requests.
* Coordinate with manufacturing sites to ensure timely delivery of orders.
* Generate and maintain monthly/weekly reports and required KPIs.
* Identify and implement system and process improvements.
Requirements:
* Third-level qualification, preferably a degree, and/or APICs or IIPMM qualification.
* Proven experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment, ideally in a regulated sector.
* Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
