Our clients are roofing and cladding specialists in Ireland. They are currently seeking a Financial Accounts Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.
Your new role:
The Accounts Assistant role is pivotal in maintaining a systematic and efficient accounts receivable process, reporting directly to the Finance Manager. Responsibilities include daily banking, cashflow management, credit control, and bank reconciliations. The role also involves petty cash handling, interdepartmental support, intercompany reconciliations, and report generation. Additionally, the assistant will handle month-end support, tax filings, payroll coverage, audit preparations, and provide flexibility for accounts payable duties.
What you'll need to succeed :
To be successful, you will need to have 5 years of experience in a similar accounting role. Candidates with experience in the construction industry will find it advantageous, and familiarity with ISO9001:2015 is considered beneficial. The role requires PC literacy, particularly with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel) and Outlook, as well as knowledge of Sage 50. Additionally, applicants should possess good typing skills to be considered for the position.
