Summary: Reporting to the FP&A Manager for Cost Partnering the Financial Analyst will be an integral part of the team’s success.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Analysis
Work with the Waystone Organisation to partner with different departments to prepare business cases for projects/ value creation initiatives as they arise.
Prepare monthly/ quarterly analysis of business cases/ projects for financial performance against financial metrics/ objectives of the project/ value creation initiatives.
Track costs to achieve for projects/ initiatives to ensure all costs are allocated to correct project codes within the ERP system and accruals are posted in respect of each project/ initiative.
Partner with the Waystone Group Finance team to ensure general ledger integrity of all ledger bookings connected to projects/ value creation iniatiives.
Track synergies/ cost savings connected to each project against the financial results versus business cases.
Participate cost analysis for the monthly reporting cycle as per the direction of the FP&A Manager for cost partnering.
Financial Reporting
Prepare monthly reporting for all projects/ value creation initiatives through adaptive planning providing insights into costs to achieve versus budget and synergies/ cost savings versus the business case.
Work with the Group Finance Team to prepare the monthly project costs report.
Work directly with the FP&A Manager to prepare cost reports as part of the Group monthly reporting cycle.
Work with FP&A Manager to develop and maintain all cost/ business case reporting templates in Adaptive Planning.
Business Case Submission, Budgeting & Forecasting
Partner with the Transformations Office and Budget Holders within Waystone to prepare Business Case submissions for projects and Value Creation Initiatives. Be responsible for preparation of the financials around each project/ value creation initiative.
Partner with the wider FP&A/ Finance function for the annual budget process and forecasting process. Work under the leadership of the FP&A Manager to prepare reports and analysis for budgeting/ forecasting inputs for Indirect costs and Business Case/ Value Creation Initiatives.
Participate in presentation materials for Budgeting/ forecasting for communication to Internal and External stakeholders.
Business Partnering & Collaboration
Serve as the strategic financial partner to all Business Case Owners, advising on financial implications of business decisions and helping to drive positive financial outcome.
Work closely with the FP&A team and the Business Partners for Country and Product to deliver cost reporting/ analysis.
Collaborate with the Waystone Group Finance team by contributing to Group Policy & Procedure, Finance Transformation initiatives and participate in business wide projects as a Finance delegate.
Build and maintain strong relationships with all key internal and external stakeholders.

Experience:
3 years+ post qualified experience.
Proven experience in a financial analysis role with a focus on ability to deliver financial insights to facilitate budget management.
A good communicator who can deliver important messaging to the business and is able to prepare financial presentations.
Advanced proficiency in financial management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Sage Intacct, Adaptive Planning and Salesforce experience is preferable but not necessary.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related field.
A professional qualification is preferred.
