Group Financial Controller
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled finance professional to lead our group's financial operations in a dynamic and fast-paced organisation. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role oversees finance operations, compliance, financial reporting, analysis, strategy, and stakeholder management.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Financial Controller with group-level reporting expertise, strong leadership and management capabilities, and the ability to navigate complex financial processes in a high-growth, multi-entity environment. We are seeking a proactive and strategic finance leader to make a significant impact within our rapidly growing tech organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee group structure reporting, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements.
* Manage the month-end and quarter-end closing processes, maintaining high standards of financial reporting.
* Lead group consolidations across multiple entities, including intercompany reconciliations.
* Conduct detailed variance analysis on revenue, gross margin, and operational costs, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
* Oversee financial integrations following acquisitions to ensure smooth transitions.
* Work closely with key business stakeholders to enhance financial reporting and decision-making.
* Provide strategic financial insights to support the company's long-term growth and direction.
* Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.
* Act as the primary contact for external stakeholders.
* Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team of five professionals.
Key Requirements:
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with a minimum of four year's experience in a senior financial control role at group level.
* Proven experience in group-level consolidations and financial reporting.
* Strong expertise in group close processes, intercompany transactions, and audit management.
* Excellent leadership and management skills, with experience guiding high-achieving teams.
* Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
