What you will be doing
1. Prepare and analyse monthly financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
2. Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement, and present findings to management.
3. Perform analysis for ongoing projects, assessing financial performance, budget adherence, and potential risks or opportunities.
4. Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning.
5. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and financial targets.
6. Assist in ad hoc financial projects and initiatives as needed to support the overall objectives of the finance department and the organisation.
Is this the job for me?
1. Qualified ACA / ACCA with demonstrated expertise in analysing and interpreting financial data.
2. Strong proficiency in financial modelling, data analysis, and MS Excel.
3. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Coins, EPM, HFM) is a plus.
4. Audit & Assurance experience is beneficial.
5. Experience in construction is an advantage.
6. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings effectively.
7. Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and the ability to prioritise tasks.
8. Strong people skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organisation.
9. Proactive mindset with a continuous improvement focus, always seeking opportunities to enhance processes and drive efficiencies.
