Job Description:
ADI's Multi-Market Power Business Unit seeks innovative individuals with a strong technical background to join our test development team in Limerick. As a Test Engineer, you will design and develop high-performance test solutions on Automated Test Equipment (ATE) for silicon validation, characterization, qualification, and manufacturing of power products, such as DC-DC Converters, Temperature Sensors, Digital Power Solutions, GaN Drivers, and Protection Devices.
* Collaborate with design engineers to define and develop test methodologies, test plans, test modes, SCAN, and IDDq test patterns.
* Develop innovative solutions to meet customer and product demands.
* Design, develop, and debug multi-site, cost-effective test hardware and software solutions for characterization, qualification, and production wafer probe and final test.
* Work with layout engineers to design Printed Circuit Boards for multi-site test HW.
* Validate and correlate new test solutions with design bench reference data.
* Manage and maintain project schedules that align with product introduction and release dates.
* Engage and support local and offshore manufacturing to maintain production yield and high quality, resolving product and test problems after production release.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (Master's degree a plus) in Electrical Engineering or relevant technical discipline such as Electronics Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience involving: analyzing and debugging analog and digital circuits; designing hardware and software solutions for ATE that minimize test cost and maximize test performance; developing multi-site test programs using C/C++/C# or Visual Basic; using schematic and layout tools like Cadence ALLEGRO; performing statistical data analysis using Excel or other data analytics tools; documenting and presenting test plans and evaluation reports for power and mixed-signal products. Experience with NI STS, ETS-364, ETS-88, SPEA, or uFlex platforms is an advantage.
