Bellingham Farms is a 1400 acre mixed arable and beef platform based in Castlebellingham, County Louth.
The Office Administrator will be responsible for overseeing the administrative operations of Bellingham Farms, and other Bellingham Group Companies.
Key Responsibilities Administrative Duties Responsible for the day-to-day office administration tasks including answering the office phone Liaising with Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Factories, Marts & Hauliers Filing Cattle Passports, and other livestock and agricultural documentation Preparing and compiling reports for the Management Team.
Maintenance and upkeep of essential records on a daily and weekly basis.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of livestock, health treatments, sales, and inventory.
Handling and management of documentation for feed, supplies, and equipment purchases.
Prepare and manage budgets, expense reports, and financial statements.
Ensuring coordination with suppliers, veterinarians, and other service providers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Management of the Senior Management Teams schedules.
Operational Support Assisting in the planning and implementation of feeding, and health programs.
Monitoring and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Assist in planning and organising of cattle auctions (Livestock Purchases), sales, and all other Company related events.
Communication & Coordination Liaise with the Senior Management Team, other employees, suppliers, customers, and other Bellingham Group personnel.
Prepare and submit reports to the Senior Management Team as required.
Communicate effectively with staff to ensure smooth operations of daily farm activities.
Regulatory Compliance Maintain records and documentation for audits and inspections.
Stay up to date in industry trends, legal changes, and best practices in Farm Management.
The ideal candidate will:
Ideally have previous experience in a similar role, however, this is not essential.
Have excellent IT Skills, with strong experience in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
Have excellent organisational and communication skills.
Have the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team, a team player is essential for this role.
Be willing to work across the Bellingham Group.
Have excellent time-management skills.
Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Have a valid drivers license.
