Financial ControllerOur client, a long-established engineering & technical services multinational, has engaged with us in Cpl to help them recruit an experienced Financial Controller to join the leadership team here in Shannon.This is a fantastic opportunity for ambitious applicants to further develop their career in a truly world-class environment & gain excellent further experience & career growth, so if you’re interested, please apply!The Job:As a key part of the operations leadership team & reporting directly to the CFO, your duties will be focused on managing the financial operations for 2 manufacturing sites in Ireland as well as leading & mentoring the 5-person accounts team & overseeing their ongoing duties.More specifically, you will have ownership of the month-end & annual close processes, manage the AP & AR functions on both sites, ensure accuracy in financial operations, analyze corporate/business financial processes, provide financial insights & advice to the leadership team, control budgets & lead financial projects.Your Skills/Experience that we need:3rd level degree qualified.Fully qualified accountant.4-5+ years industry experience in a finance manager or financial controller role ideally. Senior accountants with people management experience will also be considered.Experience gained in a multinational manufacturing type of environment is a significant advantage.Excellent IT skills including a high level of ability in all Microsoft applications.Experience/knowledge in using ERP systems would be an advantage.Proven ability to work on your own initiative & manage projects.The Offer:This job is being offered as a 12-month contract basis with salary/overall package depending on skills/experience but expected to range up to approx. 85k.
