My client, a leading FMCG Manufacturer based in Kildare, is in need of a Production Planner to join their busy and growing site.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Production Planner to join a leading Organization which has gone from strength to strength in recent years.
The duties for the Production Planner include but are not limited to: Create master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of production in association with the operations team.
Must strive to meet shipping dates requested by customer service at time of work order entry.
Work with Quality Control to verify formulas and batch sizes for production.
Provide production schedules for Operations and Quality Control.
Confer daily with the Operations team to determine status of assigned production.
Prepare purchase requisitions to obtain raw materials.
Prepare purchase requisitions for packaging material as needed and maintain packaging inventory.
Work with Purchasing and Accounting to ensure that products ordered are posted correctly into inventory.
Assist during annual physical inventory and act as an internal auditor during this process.
Review batches after completion to ensure inventory movements are accurate and batch yields are within range.
Maintain familiarity with company policies and procedures pertaining to Food Security/Food Defense, Sanitation, cGMPs, HACCP/Food Safety.
The requirements for the desired Production Planner include: Must be familiar with production and inventory procedures.
Previous experience in a Production Planner role Previous FMCG experience desired but not necessary Understanding of both demand and forecast planning.
Good at mathematical calculations.
Good English communication skills.
Proficient with computer software programs- ERP systems, Excel Word etc.
