Be motivated by our values: Integrity, Respect, Trust & Innovation.Role ResponsibilitiesCoordinating with local accounting team including oversight of and providing direction to outsourced service providers globally and allocating resources to ensure a timely completion of work.Being accountable for the regular monthly routine processes and controls: journal entries revision, trial balance analytical review, analysis of complex balance sheet accounts in accordance with GAAP and Western Union accounting policies.Preparing standalone financial statements and regulatory filings according to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (IFRS, US GAAP).Supporting CFO with key management reports for Senior Management, Boards and Audit Committees, including tracking KPIs and annual budgets.Ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations such as safeguarding customer funds and capital adequacy.Working with business partners to analyze and resolve financial reporting issues.Cooperating with auditors, tax advisors and regulators.Providing leadership in initiating and implementing process improvements.Role RequirementsFully qualified in one of the following: ACA, CIMA, ACCA, ACMA, CPA along with 5+ years' qualified experience in accounting.Working knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, monthly routine processes, legal, tax requirements and regulatory reportingSkilled in preparing of financial statements and experience in collaboration with auditors during preparation and review of audit materialDemonstrate strong people management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empower and motivate people and a desire and ability to take a strong leadership role and influence actions to create real change.Previous experience with reporting to Central bank of Ireland or Financial Conduct Authority would be an advantagePrevious experience with Oracle and Blackline is a plusYou will also have access to short-term incentives, multiple health insurance options, accident and life insurance, and access to best-in-class development platforms, to name a few ().
