Reporting to the HID International Tax Director, the International Tax Senior Analyst will be a key support for our HID Global division providing advice across functions, business areas and jurisdictions. This position is focused on consultancy and advisory type tasks with a smaller focus on compliance.
This is a 12-month fixed term contract with hybrid working available.

As our International Tax Senior Analyst, you’ll support HID’s success by:
1. Providing tax advice and support on various business activities and transactions
2. Partnering with all business areas across the group, providing tax advisory support for various projects
3. Managing and supporting a range of ad hoc tasks, projects, and activities as needed to meet team and business objectives
4. Conducting research on international tax issues and legislation changes and communicate expected impacts to the wider business
5. Supporting the identification and implementation of projects to ensure compliance with international tax regulations, including BEPS Pillar II and transfer pricing requirements
6. Advising HID finance teams on tax compliance activities including VAT filings, corporate tax returns, tax audits and other related obligations
7. Keeping the ERP system current with tax legislation changes and support testing to ensure accurate tax functionality in all ERP updates

3. Solid accounting and tax technical skills
4. Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing
5. Ability to read and interpret tax technical documents, legislation and other international tax guidance
6. Experience with Oracle or similar ERP system
7. Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
8. Key awareness of business area and/or functional stakeholders with a passion for providing excellent customer service
Your Experience and Education include:
1. Chartered Tax Advisor/AITI qualified or Chartered Tax Consultant, with an ACA or ACCA qualification a strong advantage
2. Minimum 3-5 years’ relevant PQE experience
3. Industry experience is desirable but not essential
4. Knowledge across multiple areas of taxation preferred
