Castle Group is hiring a proactive Safety Advisor to join our team on a high-profile construction project in Dublin. This is a unique opportunity to support a dedicated safety culture within one of Ireland’s leading fit-out and construction specialists. Reporting to the Safety Manager, you’ll work alongside an established safety team to ensure best practices, compliance, and proactive safety measures are upheld on-site.

Key Responsibilities:
* Site Inspections & Audits: Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with Castle Group’s Health & Safety policies.
* Compliance & Procedures: Enforce adherence to all health and safety protocols, offering guidance to ensure procedures are followed.
* Accident & Incident Monitoring: Track and report accidents or incidents on-site, documenting findings and liaising with the internal team to implement corrective actions.
* HSE Management Support: Collaborate with the HSE Management team, providing support and guidance on compliance, risk management, and safety improvements.
* Safety Culture Promotion: Actively encourage a positive safety culture among all employees and subcontractors on-site through coaching, mentorship, and regular communication.
* Proactive Safety Initiatives: Lead safety initiatives and encourage a proactive approach to health, safety, and environmental issues across the site.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Educational Background: Degree in Health & Safety, Environmental Health, or a related discipline.
* Construction Project Experience: At least 2 years’ experience working in health and safety on construction projects.
* Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate clearly and effectively across teams and to produce concise safety reports.
* Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with IT systems and report writing software, with the ability to efficiently track safety data and trends.
* Team Collaboration: Ability to work well within a team and promote collaborative efforts towards safety excellence.
* Commercial Awareness: Understanding of the business and operational impact of safety protocols.
