Job Description
What you will be doing
The main purpose of this role is to support the Director Quality, Health, Safety and Environment to digitise, initially the Quality Management System, carrying out a lot of the administrative side of implementing the D4 quality system, as well as the digitisation of the HSE system, as well as other systems to be considered in the future. This role is separate from the Quality Assurance function, and heavily project based.
Main duties of this Role:
1. To aid in the population of an online electronic quality management system, initially locally in our Cork site and later across other Irish sites – would ultimately involve prolonged periods of time at other site locations; Dublin, Waterford and Belfast.
2. Under the direction of the Director of Quality, Health, Safety and Environment, build our existing processes to make them more intuitive and compliant.
3. Help to create training documents on the use of the electronic quality management system.
4. Work on a project to digitize the way in which work is recorded, and to cross-link the controlling systems.
5. Frequent progress reporting to Director, Quality, Health, Safety and Environment.
Qualifications
What you'll need to succeed
6. 2+ years’ experience within a similar role.
7. BSc in a Life Science (chemistry, microbiology, food science, etc.)
8. Technically computer competent, with some basic science background.
9. Willingness to travel within Ireland - across our other sites
10. Highly motivated, professional and enthusiastic individual who can work well within a busy multi-disciplinary technical environment as well as under their own initiative.
11. Ability to work well under pressure.
12. Excellent attention to detail.
13. Ability to multi-task, prioritise, organise and co-ordinate your own workload.
14. Excellent organisational skills and good commercial acumen.
15. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
