Senior Customer Reliability Engineer

The role combines technical expertise with governance reporting in a sports team-oriented environment, ensuring compliance with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 standards and delivering exceptional platform performance in line with SLAs.
The Senior Customer Reliability Engineer will play a vital role in enhancing system resilience, working with advanced tools like Grafana, Jira, and Webex, and contributing to the platform’s continued success. The hybrid model offers flexibility with a requirement to be on-site only four days per month, supporting a strong work-life balance.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain governance processes tailored to a sports team framework.
2. Ensure adherence to SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance requirements.
3. Define, track, and report on SLAs to maintain service quality.
4. Monitor platform performance and resolve reliability issues proactively.
5. Engage in incident management and support during on-call rotations.
6. Use monitoring tools such as Grafana and manage projects using Jira.
7. Generate detailed governance reports and maintain compliance documentation.
8. Drive platform improvements through collaboration and innovation.
Requirements:
1. Significant experience in a Senior Customer Reliability Engineer or equivalent role.
2. Deep knowledge of SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance standards.
3. Strong skills in SLA creation, monitoring, and management.
4. Proficiency with Grafana, Jira, Webex, and other relevant tools.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for ensuring platform reliability.
6. Comfortable participating in an on-call rotation, maintaining poise under pressure.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective governance reporting.
8. Familiarity with SRE principles and platform monitoring practices.
