Senior Structural Engineer - Tekla/Revit

Our client is Ireland's leading civil & structural engineering consultancy. You will be working with senior colleagues on the delivery of major structural projects. You will be responsible for the technical, managerial and commercial aspects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Involves client relationship management
2. Implement Company policy
3. Plan and manage project resources
4. Undertake career planning and arrange for effective mentoring and training of employees
5. Offer pro-active advice in relation to problem solving issues
6. Oversee compliance with Company’s Quality Management System
7. Oversee compliance with Health and Safety practices by those under your direction
8. Manage client relationships and business development
Requirements:
1. Honours degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
2. Minimum of 5 years postgraduate experience in engineering consultancy
3. Understanding of engineering principles and a strong technical focus
4. Design abilities to provide robust and economical solutions in concrete, steel, timber, masonry, etc.
5. Significant base of IT skills including structural design software such as Tekla Structural Designer, SCIA, TEDDS suite, CADS suite, STRAP, etc.
6. REVIT + AutoCAD skills
7. Word, Excel, Power Point, MS Project
8. Understanding of the Irish regulatory and policy issues
9. The ability to work closely in partnership with clients and contractors and other members of design teams
10. Strong communication skills both oral and written
11. A positive, proactive approach with an ability to adapt to changing scenarios
