Network Production Engineer (University Grad)

About the Role
We're building a large-scale network to serve over a billion users. As a Network Production Engineer, you'll ensure our network is reliable, robust, and scalable. You'll develop and deploy network designs, automation systems, and performance improvements into our production network.
Responsibilities
* Develop experience with Backbone, Data Center, and Network Infrastructure Engineering teams through rotational experiences during your first year.
* Build, manage, and maintain multi-vendor, multi-protocol data center and backbone networks.
* Design and deploy new network architectures.
* Develop automated methods to mitigate and remediate network events.
* Analyze data to diagnose and identify root causes to network issues.
* Participate in deep technical discussions.
* Maintain consistency within the network infrastructure.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant technical field (must be completed prior to joining Meta).
* Experience with computer networks, UNIX, TCP/IP, network fundamentals, or similar.
* Coding experience in at least one language (Python/Golang/Rust/C++ are used at Meta).
* Able to learn new concepts around network design and management.
* Ongoing work authorization in the country of employment.
